Salary RangeFrom $37998 to $46573 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Permanent service in this title, or one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as an SG-9 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Civil Service Law, or a reachable score on the Civil Service eligible list for this title.
Duties Description The incumbent will be responsible for providing support to the Citizen’s Policy and Complaint Review Council (CPCRC). Duties will include planning and preparing for the Council meetings; keeping records; maintaining the inmate grievance appeal file system; publishing the CPCRC determinations; and supporting the Chair and members of the CPCRC. Additional duties include:
• Mailing and tracking all inspection correspondence and maintaining the electronic work plan pertaining to the Juvenile Justice inspectional program;
• Mailing, filing and maintaining a system to track incoming responsive correspondence for the Field Operations work products inspection/investigation reports;
• Answering the main telephone line and forward calls to appropriate staff;
• Entering pertinent information regarding inmate complaints into database and forward to appropriate staff; Support Counsel’s Office in the response and tracking of agency FOIL requests;
• Maintaining vehicle assignment system, travel logs, maintenance records and reports for vehicle fleet;
• Assisting the administration in the compilation of information and physical production of the Commission Annual report;
• Providing support activities including preparing agendas, organizing supporting materials, and making travel arrangements for the Medical Review Board/Forensic Medical Unit;
• Producing inmate transfer orders and maintaining records for the Substitute Jail Order transfer
system; and
• Arranging for repairs and maintenance of office equipment.
