Minimum Qualifications Permanent service in the Identification Examiner 1 (previously Fingerprint Examiner 1) title and eligible for reassignment, or one year of permanent competitive service in a title SG-06 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer, or reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list.

Duties Description The duties of these positions will include: Exception Tracking System diagnostics which aids in the synchronization of the Office of Court Administration (OCA) and DCJS databases and the Unmatched Disposition File. Tasks may also include processing OCA quarterly reports; updating and purging juvenile delinquent records; responding to inquiries from the National Instant Criminal Background Check System and other states regarding gun purchases; communicating with courts and arresting agencies to resolve hanging dispositions; updating or modifying court documents including criminal histories, Certificate of Relief, Certificate of Good Conduct, pistol transfers, name changes, appellate court decisions, arrest updates and death notifications; identifying and resolving criminal history errors; handling disposition questions from courts; and other tasks as needed.
