Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the appropriate Civil Service eligible list.
Transfer Qualifications:
Candidates must have permanently served at least one year in a title designated as appropriate for transfer in accordance with Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law. Transfer eligible titles include but are not limited to: Agency Labor Relations Rep 1, Agency Training & Development Specialist 2, Associate Personnel Administrator, and Affirmative Action Administrator 2.
Duties Description Responsible for taking a major role in administering the various negotiated contracts and labor-management agreements; participating in the administration of disciplinary procedures and in the administration of contract and non-contract grievances; participating in agency-level labor-management meetings. Some of this work is, by nature, conducted in a stressful atmosphere and involves dealing with others in an adversarial role. This position involves traveling and candidate must be able to travel when necessary.
