Minimum Qualifications Must be a current OCFS Youth Division Aide 3 with a valid New York State Motor Vehicle license.

Selection will be based on seniority: Seniority shall be the length of State service without a break in service of more than two years (unless on approved leave). Any absence that exceeds one (1) year will result in that portion that exceeds one (1) year being deducted from the length of service for seniority purposes except for approved military leave of up to four years. This means that temporary and permanent service is incorporated into the seniority date.

Duties Description Statewide transport of Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) youth for admission to and release from OCFS facilities, and to/from Criminal and Family Court hearings.

Prepare OCFS forms and reports related to youth transports.

Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and serviced as required, report maintenance problems and schedule repairs as needed.

Keep assigned vehicle clean and properly fueled at all times.

Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
