Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have one year of permanent competitive service as Budget Examiner, M/C-18, OR one year of permanent competitive service in a title eligible to transfer under section 52.6 of Civil Service Law.

Duties Description The incumbent will be a member of a three-person team responsible for environmental agencies and authorities. Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, the Environmental Facilities Corporation, the Adirondack Park Agency and the Hudson River Black River Regulating District.

The incumbent’s assignment will include:
• Developing and reviewing budget and programmatic recommendations;
• Facilitating and monitoring budget execution activities;
• Representing the Division in meetings with agency and authority fiscal and program staff;
• Drafting appropriations, legislation and bill memorandums; and
• Tracking revenues, disbursement and staffing against fiscal and personnel plans, providing periodic reports to management, and other functions, as assigned.
