Minimum Qualifications Applicant must be an employee of New York State and have permanent or contingent/permanent status as an Office Assistant 2 (Calculations) eligible for transfer, OR have permanent or contingent/permanent status in a G-7 or higher title and eligible for a 70.1 transfer OR be reachable on the Civil Service list.

Duties Description Reconcile in Statewide Financial System (SFS) procurement card charges. Ensure all proper documentation is received and coded in SFS correctly.

Capital District DDSO has over 800 procurement cards. There are over 2,500 charges monthly. These transactions need to be reviewed for appropriateness and compliance with established guidelines. All transactions must be reconciled and approved in SFS timely.

Interact with Business Service Center (BSC). Obtain authorizations to pay invoices BSC receives from various recipients of goods and services. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Process petty cash check requests and prepare checks for signature as needed.

Perform special assignments at the request of supervisory staff. Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets is beneficial.
