Duties Description The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Division of Person-Centered Supports is seeking an individual to support staff daily, during changes and transitions in the Bureau of People First Waiver. The Bureau will be incorporating modifications to waivers, as well as beginning to implement new care-management programs and initiatives. The Secretary 1 will act as main administrative support person and assist office professional staff during the coming transitions, and beyond.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Secretary 1 the responsibilities of the incumbent may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and video conferences for waiver staff; prepare meeting materials and document meeting minutes;
• Prepare and edit written material, draft letters and other documentation, and merge documents using Microsoft Word;
• Create and maintain a filing system;
• Maintain and enter questions and answers into the Waiver Technical Assistance Database;
• Answer calls and direct them to appropriate staff;
• Complete user ID and system access requests;
• Order and maintain supplies for office staff.

Additional Comments • For CSEA positions: Local Bidding Agreements will be honored.

• All OPWDD employees must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Continued employment will depend on maintaining eligibility.
