Minimum Qualifications 1. Must currently be a permanent Developmental Disabilities Program Specialist 1.
OR
2. Must be active and reachable on the Civil Service eligible list for Developmental Disabilities Program Specialist 1.
OR
3. Eligible for 70.1 transfer by way of current permanent status in a title deemed comparable to Developmental Disabilities Program Specialist 1 by the Department of Civil Service (Must also be within 2 salary grades of the targeted title).
NOTE: Provisional appointments will only be considered if there are insufficient in-Title and/or Civil Service List candidates.
Duties Description Provide Vacancy Management Services as follows:
• Identify and maintain records of all available vacancies and of all of those seeking placement and assess for priority
• Orient providers to the new Vacancy Management methods to insure compliance
• Hold monthly meetings with agency representatives to identify those with emergency and urgent need for placement
• Maintain records and documentation to reflect follow up and record options offered and results
• In conjunction with Olmstead, identify alternatives for special populations such as Age Outs, those moving from nursing homes, and those coming from Developmental Centers.
• Other duties as assigned
