Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the Beginning Clerical Worker eligible list OR be eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description Prepping, Scanning and Verifying Folders, Loose Mail & Singletons:
• Prepare paper folder/singletons contents for scanning.
• Analyze and sort folder contents accurately in proper document classifications according to established procedures.
• Scan documents.
• Once scanned, check skew, clarify, quality and accountability.
• Count a random sample of folders sent to vendor for quality assurance.

Miscellaneous Tasks:
• Perform miscellaneous additional tasks as necessary to ensure the success of the project.

Additional Comments DESIRED COMPETENCIES:
• Ability to understand and use common office record keeping and filing systems and processed.
• Ability to ready, understand and interpret regulations, procedural manuals, and other documents used in routine office processing.
• Ability to use common office equipment including personal computers, scanners, and photocopies.
• Ability to perform tasks accurately within prescribed time frames.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
