Minimum Qualifications Three years of satisfactory experience in a large commercial or institutional laundry, one year of when must have been as a lead worker or serving in a supervisory capacity over employees, inmates or clients/consumers.

Duties Description Head Laundry Supervisor is responsible for a state facility laundry, processing an average of over 40 tons (dry) but less than an average of 150 tons (dry) per month. Supervises a group of assigned inmate workers to insure the effective and efficient operation of the laundry. Also responsible for the distribution, fitting, alteration, and coding of resident clothing in a central clothing shop.
