Minimum Qualifications Applicant must be an employee of New York State and have permanent or contingent/permanent status as a Secretary 1 eligible for transfer, OR have permanent or contingent/permanent status in a G-9 or higher title and eligible for a 70.1 transfer OR be reachable on the Civil Service list.

Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties include but are not limited to the following: The incumbent will report directly to the Business Officer and will provide secretarial duties to the Business Officer and Assistant Business Officer. The incumbent will log in all incoming mail and keep specific spreadsheets and data showing the flow of all clients cash request, purchase requests, traffic and ecb violations and invoices/request for payment. The incumbent will organize and track all traffic and parking violations and ensure their prompt payment. The incumbent will be the liaison to HR regarding follow up with employees who are responsible for these tickets and need to reimburse the state. The incumbent will act as Payroll liaison to the DDSO and communicate between the HR Office the Regional Payroll Office, OSC and DDSO staff. The incumbent will be responsible for mailroom duties in Manhattan and the Bronx, contribute to Client’s Cash PA audits in the homes, help track use of procurement cards, keep an inventory of state owned equipment and back up entry of purchase requests in the SFS system.
