Minimum Qualifications To be considered, you must reachable for appointment from the Professional Career Opportunities (PCO) Select Job Titles eligible list for Policy Analyst 1 Public Authority or in a title eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.

The preferred candidate should be proficient in Excel, Word, Access, and business analysis tools. A familiarity with the Public Authorities Law and the mission and purpose of public authorities is advantageous.



Duties Description As a Policy Analyst 1 Public Authority, you would review, analyze and recommend the development and implementation of policies pertaining to State and local public authorities; train, advise and assist the staff of public authorities concerning accountability and compliance with State law, financial transparency, and operating and management best practices to improve governance; participate in developing risk-based compliance review plans; and conduct policy analysis, research, reporting or compliance reviews associated with the oversight of public authorities.
