Eligible for transfer under Section 70.1: Permanent competitive service as: Permanent competitive service as: Accountant Aide Trainee 1 or 2, Environmental Conservation Program Aide Trainee Keyboard Specialist 3, Legal Assistant Trainee 1, Office Assistant 2, Office Assistant 2 (Calculations), Office Assistant 2 (Customer Service), Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding), Office Assistant 2 (Stores/Mail), Senior Offset Machine Operator, Senior Offset Printing Machine Operator, Stores & Mail Operations Supervisor. Also any language parenthetic for the above titles. Additional titles which qualify can be found on the Department of Civil Service website, http://www.cs.ny.gov/, search ”GOT-IT.”

Duties Description This position will be in the Bureau of Expenditures. Duties include, but are not limited to, maintain basic financial, accounting, and/or statistical records; perform calculations and computations using known and standard formulas and methods (primarily using computers and calculators); as needed and as directed, contact various internal and external parties to obtain information; prepare, process, review, and record numerical transactions and records (this activity may include: processing bills and vouchers; reviewing or auditing calculations or statistics; or disbursing items of value such as cash or vouchers); and supervising.
