Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have managerial experience and strong analytical and interpersonal skills. A law degree and knowledge of governmental processes are preferred but not required.
Duties Description To oversee and manage staff, presently fifty persons, and report regularly to the Board of Commissioners on all operations of the Joint Commission on Public Ethics (“JCOPE”), created pursuant to Chapter 399 of the Laws of 2011. Executive Director is responsible for the oversight of: Lobbying Reports and Financial Disclosure Statements and related audits and programs; education and training programs; investigations and the preparation, filing and publication of legal opinions. The position is in both Albany, New York and New York City.
Additional Comments Salary commensurate with experience.
