Duties Description Supervision and oversight of the provision of child welfare services in local social service districts. Provide assistance to districts in the county planning process; Direct staff in the monitoring of local district service corrective action plans and the supervision of all local district service delivery programs; Insures that revised and/or new policies and procedures are promulgated throughout the local districts and that policy and program initiatives mandated by the agency are implemented; Direct the provision of technical assistance to local social service district staff including the development of outreach information for programs such as adoption and preventive services; Direct staff in the comprehensive assessment, inspection, and supervision of agencies, facilities, and programs within the region; Participate in the development of regulations and program standards; Responsible for oversight of licensed voluntary agencies through licensing and certification, institutional abuse investigations and corrective action plans; Responsible for the completion of individual fatality reports as required by law.
