Notes on ApplyingThe NYS Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) has active vacancy postings on StateJobsNY for positions in the IT, Project Manager, and Business Systems Analyst series within the agency. Due to the volume of recruitment and interest in these vacancies, we are posting these continuously. If you meet the minimum qualifications above, and are interested in being considered for opportunities within ITS in this title, please complete the candidate survey available through http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/2474575/498e6e691d3c and attach your resume and cover letter. Applicants need only submit one survey response, resume, and cover letter for this posting period, as the survey encompasses the IT, Project Manager, and Business Systems Analyst titles series.

The survey obtains your interest in title, location, shift and functional area, not specific vacancies. Managers indicate the title, location, shift and functional area when requesting to fill a position. Your selections in the survey are matched to the hiring managers’ needs and resumes are forwarded accordingly. You will be provided details for individual vacancies if contacted for an interview.

In addition to these postings, appropriate eligible lists will be canvassed as specific vacancies are available. If you are on an eligible list you need not apply to this posting unless you also meet the minimum qualifications on the posting and are interested in being considered for transfer, line change, reinstatement, or 55-b/c appointment.

Your resume and preferences will remain on file until the next announced posting period, which we anticipate to occur approximately every few months.
