Minimum Qualifications Must have a license to practice medicine in New York State and must be eligible for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must have a MD, MBBS or DO degree and have completed 1 year of postgraduate training acceptable to the Liaison Committee on Graduate Medical Education of the American Medical Association (or as listed in the Directory of Approved Residency Training Programs) and have had 2 years of subsequent medical experience.
Duties Description Serve as clinical practitioner on an advances level, provide medical leadership, or serve as director of specific programs. You would administer and actively participate in the general medical care of the patients for whom you are responsible, assigning patients to subordinates and conferring with them on diagnosis and treatment. A classification standard is available upon request.
