Duties Description Building Space Analyst 1 positions in Real Estate Planning and Development are required to assist with the development of space program requirements, site selection, planning or oversight of space planning services for over 600 leases in the state portfolio, as well as office space in state office buildings. This portfolio includes over 12 million square feet of leased space. Incumbents will be quantifying space requirements, preparing or overseeing building assessments for code and Americans with Disabilities Act program requirements and interior designs. Senior Building Space Analysts will interface with landlords’ project managers/architects, on an as needed basis, during project development and implementation. Additional duties will include, but not be limited to: oversight of furniture assessment/ordering/design review, document progress in the project costing module of SFS and statistical analysis for state office buildings and leased properties.

Knowledge of New York State Building Code, AutoCAD skills for preparation of in-house space planning drawings and AutoCAD procedures is preferred.

Note: Travel is required.
