Salary RangeFrom $83493 to $102838 Annually
Minimum Qualifications An associate’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field AND ten years of experience in construction scheduling; OR a bachelor’s degree in the above fields AND eight years of experience in construction scheduling.
In addition, the idea candidate will have a working knowledge of construction scheduling, including:
• Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera project planner – P3 & P6 and Microsoft Project)
• Good working knowledge of construction /field service and related work flow processes
• Skilled in scheduling principles and methods including:
o CPM Scheduling techniques
o Resource loading of schedules
o Resource leveling
o Earned value
o Contractor developed schedule review, analysis and reporting
Duties Description The incumbent will supervise a team of schedulers and will be responsible for checking schedules for completeness and accuracy.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of D&C standards and procedures for scheduling management.
• Discusses schedules with contractors’ schedulers particularly to suggest ways to save time on projects without sacrificing utility or safety.
• Review all durations of construction projects during design phase for concurrence and sign off to be included in contract as well as larger change order durations.
• Train and mentor staff.
• Responsible for the continuous improvement of D&C’s scheduling roles and responsibilities in relation to construction industry’s latest trends.
