Minimum Qualifications Currently Licensed and Registered to practice nursing in NYS. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with in-service training and/or staff development
Duties Description The RN for this position will assist in the Staff Development office as educator for newly hired staff as well as continued education for current staff. The educator will also collect data, perform audits, administer competency exams and in-services as needed as well as provide supervision to nursing staff. The RN for this position must be knowledgeable about DOH policies and procedures, updating all records and staff as changes occur.
Additional Comments Salary plus additional $12,871.00 geographic pay and $3,026.00 location pay. The schedule for this position will be flexible. Candidate must be able to work day, evening and night shifts if necessary for training of staff. Schedule will depend on the needs of the facility. Experience with Geriatric Population preferred. Knowledge in DOH policies and procedures.
