Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have permanent status as Research Scientist 2 (SG-22), and be interested in transfer; OR possess a Bachelor’s Degree and three years of professional research experience in the appropriate field; OR possess a Master’s Degree and two years of such experience; OR hold a doctorate in the appropriate field.

Duties Description The Research Scientist 2 will work within Practice Innovation and Care Management Division, OASAS Division of Outcomes management and System Information and with the Office of Mental Health and Department of Health staff to analyze Medicaid, CDS and other data to evaluate the impact of Medicaid Managed Care on the SUD system of care. This will include extracting data, building data bases, creating reports and presenting information to division leadership and executive staff. The individual should have experience with Medicaid data bases, excel, SASS and/or SPSS.
