Minimum Qualifications Two years experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled trades worker or completion of an appropriate two year technical school course. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Must be able to lift 80 lbs, and be able to work outside in adverse weather conditions.

Duties Description Primary duties include maintenance of DEC administered lands and facilities. Candidates will need perform basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, masonry, and mechanical skills. Operate various power tools, pieces of tractors, and small equipment. Responsible for daily records and reports.

Additional Comments This is a temporary appointment with a duration of 5/1/16-11/30/16.

Candidate must be willing to respond to emergencies and work in harsh weather conditions as necessary.
