Minimum Qualifications Eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law, OR Reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list.

Duties Description This is a core position whose duties include, but are not limited to:
Managing all functions and processes related to the admission team / office; Supervising staff as assigned, including preparing performance tasks/objectives, standards, appraisals and ratings; Reviewing referrals of patients for admission to the ATC; Scheduling patient admissions and dealing with related public assistance and insurance issues; Coordinating and reviewing referrals with medical / psychiatric issues with physician and psychiatrist; Responding timely to phone inquiries regarding admission from the community; With other members of the leadership team, performing duties related to performance improvement; Acting as liaison between facility and BHO as well as third party payers; Conducting interviews of referrals to assess appropriateness for treatment in accordance with UR and Admission criteria; Coordinating pre-certifications and appeals of denials for admissions and counselors with insurance related issues;
Develop and implement a marketing / outreach plan for the ATC.
