Minimum Qualifications Current New York State Department of Health employee with permanent or contingent permanent service as a Secretary 1, SG-11; OR current New York State employee with one year of permanent or contingent permanent service in a position allocated to a Grade 9 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Strong organizational skills; Excellent communication skills; Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint; Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Duties Description The incumbent of this position will provide a full range of administrative support to the New York State of Health (NYSOH) Marketplace. Duties will include but not be limited to providing telephone coverage and assisting as necessary; reviewing and distributing incoming mail; scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars; making travel arrangements and reconciling charges; preparing and tracking Executive Commissioner’s Correspondences (ECU’s); assisting with collection calls; and assisting with posting events on the NYSOH website.
Additional Comments Contingent-permanent, full-time appointment.
