Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience working in an IT related field
• 5 years of experience documenting business requirements
• 5 years of experience applying business analysis methodologies
• 5 years of experience facilitating meetings and design sessions
Preferred Experience:
• Experience conducting business analysis for government sector projects
• Experience conducting business analysis in the healthcare industry
• Experience developing test scenarios, scripts and data, and reviewing test results
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Duties Description Under the direction of the Business Systems Analyst 3, the Project Assistant will support the Seibel applications at the Justice Center, as well as applications related to OPWDD’s Managed Care - Electronic Health Record (EHR) for individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Develop requirements for critical business system projects;
• Work independently to apply a wide range of tools and techniques appropriate for the specific assignment;
• Participate in various aspects of IT Governance as required;
• Plan and perform IT system research;
• Elicit and document requirements from stakeholders and communicate to program;
• Work with stakeholders to develop “as is” and “to be” business process flows;
• Develop test scenarios and analyze results;
• Write business system documentation;
• Review and analyze business process deficiencies;
• Develop an understanding of large and/or complex business knowledge areas;
• Lead business process analysis, business process re-engineering, and development of workflow processes, use cases and standards; and,
• Assist in developing, communicating, and maintaining methodology and standards to promote a consistent approach to business analysis.
