Minimum Qualifications This is a transfer opportunity for a current State employee with permanent service as a Plant Utilitites Engineer 1.

Duties Description Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, test and calibrate mechanical and electrical equipment providing heat, hot water, ventilation, air conditioning, direct digital and analog control systems and electrical distribution. Use computer programs such as LATS, AIM, etc.

Additional Comments Operational Needs:
• Possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New York State motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Asbestos Supervisor certification required within 90 days of appointment as well as compliance with all related PESH/OSHA regulations.
• Utilities Management is a 24/7 operation, thus night, weekend, and holiday work is required based on shift assignment and operational need.
