Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have permanent status as a Secretary 1, Grade 11, and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Candidates who are not transferring from a keyboarding title must possess adequate keyboarding skills (i.e., the ability to type 35 words per minute corrected) as demonstrated by passing the Keyboard Specialist performance test. Duties Description The Office of Mental Health (OMH) is recruiting to fill a Secretary 1, G-11 vacancy in the Division of Quality Management, Bureau of Quality Improvement. Duties to be performed may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assist with staff preparation for The Joint Commission, Inspection of Care and Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services survey processes.
• Receive, review, and respond to inquiries from facilities on certification and incident reporting issues.
• Set up meetings, and assist in meeting preparation and logistics.
• Use SFS to enter travel and expense reports for Bureau staff.
• Supervise temporary staff members.
