Minimum Qualifications 1.Valid license to practice law in the State of New York

2.At least one year of experience as an attorney, performing research and writing, and/or representing clients in civil, criminal, or administrative matters, before a tribunal or appellate body, while in employment at a law firm, corporate or governmental law department, District Attorney’s office, not-for-profit entity, or as a sole practitioner.

Duties Description The Special Assistant within Office of General Counsel will serve as legal coordinator of various projects within the Board’s Business Process Reengineering program, Legislative and Regulatory drafting and project deliverables. Within these various projects, the incumbent will draft regulations; draft legal requirements in conjunction with any RFI or RFP; coordinate with other agencies and key internal and external stakeholders; develop documents, training materials, and FAQs. Travel may be required to various Board offices.
