-Ability to interpret all of the union contracts, i.e. CSEA, PEF, UUP, Council 82, NYSCOBPA, MC Classified, and professional MC's
Proficiency in the following:
-Oral and written communication
-Auditing and Proofreading
-Ability to switch gears on a daily basis
-Outstanding Customer Service, i.e. no appointment needed, immediate service
-Communication skills; heavy volume of telephone calls, email, walk-ins and constant contact with University Community

Position Summary:
Lead the appointment processing team. These functions include identifying solutions to escalated problems, questions and challenges, managing reporting hierarchy in the SUNY time and attendance application, approval authority for multiple employer transactions, communicating expert knowledge to the University community and backing up other departmental lead staff.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
-Master oracle applications including the person number maintenance and ePTF
-Master the SUNY system, a home grown application to manage appointment and payroll actions
-Knowledge expert in all areas of appointment processing
-Adhere to all University, SUNY and State policies
-Communicate regularly at meetings and while serving on committees
