Minimum Qualifications

New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service as a Secretary 1; OR current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service in a position allocated to a Grade 9 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Must demonstrate adequate keyboarding skills by prior service in a keyboarding title or successful completion of a Keyboard Specialist performance test.

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will provide administrative/clerical support to the BSC HR Director, HR Service Line Leads and service line managers and may provide support as needed for the Director of the BSC. Administrative/clerical support provided by the incumbent may include, but is not limited to the following:

• Maintaining and updating Outlook calendars
• Coordinating meeting requests, scheduling meetings and setting up required equipment for meetings (i.e. projectors, laptops, conference calls, webinars, etc.)
• Preparing meeting agenda's and meeting notes as necessary
• Coordinating the scheduling of interviews for all BSC HR vacancies
• Creating and maintaining BSC HR organizational charts
• Answering incoming phone calls for the Director of HR and HR Service Line Leads
• Managing the flow of requests to fill and appointment recommendations for the BSC HR Service Lines
• Other administrative duties as necessary
