Minimum Qualifications Interested candidates must currently be on the Information Technology Specialist 4(SP) list, OR be eligible to transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
52.6 Transfer:
Candidates must have one year of permanent, competitive service in a qualifying title allocated to salary grade 23 or higher.

Duties Description • Facilitate installation, configuration, and administration of FileNet System software, including FileNet Content Management, FileNet Workplace, IBM Content Navigator, ECM System Monitor, FileNet Capture, and IBM DataCap.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation, and support of FileNet Workplace applications.
• Facilitate FileNet System code deployments.
• Facilitate data ingestion into FileNet System.
• Monitor FileNet System communication, performance, and usage; work with ECM team, CIO teams, and/or vendor to mitigate issues.
• Create and maintain FileNet System documentation.
• Provide technical FileNet support to ECM Team members, users, and integrators/developers.
• Troubleshoot FileNet System issues with users, other CIO teams, and vendors.
• Review CIO change requests and determine impact to FileNet System.
• Work with the ECM team to plan, architect, and implement FileNet System software upgrades and patches.
• Develop and implement a repeatable Disaster Recovery and Failover process for FileNet data, content, and applications.
• Architect and facilitate the implementation of new FileNet objects, applications, and monitors.
• Supervise, assist, train, and mentor ITS 3 and ITS 2 staff in the support and maintenance of the FileNet System.

Additional Comments Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Demonstrated experience administering a FileNet Enterprise system (2 years to less than 5 years).
• Demonstrated experience with supervision (1 year to less than 2 years).
• Experience developing and supporting FileNet Workplace applications.
• Experience administering FileNet Capture.
• Experience administering ECM System Monitor.
• Experience with UNIX based systems.
• Experience with WebSphere Application Server.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise systems and determining where issues exist within system architectures.
• Experience in analysis and design, and the ability to interact with both technical and business staff. This should include internal and external resources such as vendors.
• Experience working directly with business units to facilitate defining and documenting business requirements and specifications.
• Experience with technical and end-user testing.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery and Fail Over for enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical / troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Strong oral communication skills.
