Minimum Qualifications Interested candidates must be reachable on the Agency Program Aide eligible list or eligible to transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
To be eligible for a 70.1 transfer to an Agency Program Aide, SG-13, a candidate must have one year of permanent competitive service in a qualifying title allocated to a salary grade 11 or higher.

Duties Description Provide assistance to customers of the Office of Unclaimed Funds
• The incumbent of this position will answer inquiries directed to the Office of Unclaimed Funds’ executive staff. They will coordinate activities to expedite the processing of high profile and sensitive claims; work with customers, members of the Legislature and their staff, lawyers, judges, and law enforcement personnel, and other interested parties to answer a wide range of questions relating to the Office of Unclaimed Funds; provide customers with assistance in filing claims, submitting reports or securities, or requests for information about unclaimed funds; participate in unclaimed funds outreach activities.
Purchasing/Budget tracking
• The incumbent will handle all purchasing of supplies, equipment, and paying for contractual obligations. This includes preparing purchase requests, reconciling credit card transactions, tracking all spending (personal and non-personal), and preparing budget reports.
Additional Comments Desired Competencies
• Experience providing administrative support and customer service in a fast paced environment;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word and Access;
• Purchasing experience, knowledge of SFS is a plus.
