Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Three to five years of administrative experience (with significant independent responsibility preferred). Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to interact with a diverse constituency. Computer experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access). Must be able to manage competing priorities and demonstrate a commitment to learning new skills as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree. Experience with UB systems (HUB, e-PTF, e-Req, SIRI, UB Jobs) preferred.

Position Summary:
Serve as the Department of Art's principal point person for all administrative functions and financial matters for multiple accounts. Provide direct assistance to the department Chair, faculty, and students in accordance with CAS, University and SUNY policies and procedures. Provide direct support to the Chair and faculty in a wide scope of duties which include but are not limited to: budgets; personnel; reports (annual reports and ad-hoc requests); course scheduling; student support, admissions, recruitment, and conferral; research administration; communications/PR; and day-to-day departmental operations. Responsible for maintaining departmental records. Incumbent will be expected to display initiative and flexibility, work independently with minimal supervision and be attentive to details and deadlines.
