70.1 Transfer: Applicants with one (1) year of permanent competitive service in titles such as: Administrative Assistant, Building Space Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Contract Management Specialist, Housing Specialist, Human Resources Specialist, Real Estate Specialist, Real Property Analyst, Administrative Analyst, Budgeting Analyst, Training Specialist and Workforce Programs Specialist may be eligible for transfer to Property Manager 1 or the Trainee 1 or 2 level.
70.4 Transfer: Applicants with one (1) year of permanent competitive service in a grade 11 or above title; have a Bachelor’s degree, and have taken and passed the Professional Career Opportunity test (PCO) or Public Administration Transition Test (PATT), may be eligible for transfer to Trainee level 1. Those applying under this option must complete and submit a Form OCC-APP, application for New York State Examination.
Duties Description Standard Duties: The incumbent may negotiate contracts for the procurement and maintenance of Department premises; review, evaluate and develop proposals for procurement of new space/and or the improvement, addition or alteration of existing premises; and prepare space layouts, plans and specifications. The incumbent may also initiate and coordinate office move projects, resolve moving issues and seek reimbursement for missing or damaged property. Additionally, the incumbent may also conduct periodic inspections of premises occupied by the agency to insure compliance with lease terms; contact landlord to remedy existing problems, and may secure bids from contractors to perform work on premises when deficiencies are not remedied in accordance with contractual and lease agreements.
