Minimum Qualifications .In title Treatment Team Leader, Grade M-1 (25)
- OR –
.Eligible for a 70.1 or 52.6 transfer by way of current permanent status in a title deemed comparable to Treatment Team Leader by the Department of Civil Service [must also be within two S-grades or one M-grade of grade M-1 (25)]
- OR –
.Qualified for Provisional appointment by meeting the minimum qualifications on the Treatment Team Leader examination announcement.
Duties Description The candidate should have good writing, word processing and organization skills. The candidate should also have the ability to communicate effectively. A familiarity with the incident reporting process and Part 624 regulations is required. Advanced experience creating and modifying Microsoft Access Database queries, familiarity with ODBC Driver programs and experience using Adobe ProX is desired. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
The candidate will function as the Incident Review Committee Chairperson. The candidate will supervise and train Incident Review Regulatory Compliance Staff and provide back up support to those functions as needed. The candidate will provide technical assistance to state operated programs with regard to Part 624 regulations. The candidate shadow the incumbent until her retirement date.
Other duties include, but are not limited to the following:
•Completes Redactions for Jonathan’s Law Requests.
•Reviews Completed Corrective Action Plans.
•Meets with the Board of Visitors on a Monthly Basis.
•Policy Development Related to Incident Reporting/Management.
•Trending and Trend Analysis.
•Litigation Holds for Incident Files.
•PRAISE Trainer and Train the Trainer.
•Trainer for preliminary actions, remedial investigative writing, IRMA for DDSOO staff.
•Curriculum Development.
•Completes additional projects as needed at the direction of the Director of Quality Management.
•Back Up for Coordinator of Quality Management.
•Liaison for DQI, IMU, APS, MHLS related to OPWDD incidents/services.
Additional Comments All OPWDD employees must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Continued employment will depend on maintaining eligibility.
