Minimum Qualifications You must be a qualified employee of New York State and have had three months permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service as follows: Keyboard Specialist 1, Keyboard Specialist 1 (Spanish Language), Keyboard Specialist 2, Keyboard Specialist 2 (Spanish Language), Law Department Document Specialist Trainee 1, Law Department Document Specialist Trainee 2, Law Department Document Specialist, Data Entry Machine Operator, Data Entry Machine Operator (Spanish Language), or Senior Data Entry Machine Operator.
Duties Description • Reports directly to the Director of the Center for Intensive Treatment.
• Maintains CIT Director’s calendar.
• Answers phone and schedule office coverage.
• Supervises the unit’s Keyboard Specialist 1 and 2.
• Backup duties for Keyboard Specialist 1 and 2 when off duty.
• Overseeing, prioritizing and assigning of the unit’s workload.
• Maintains CIT lists, (legal, house, staff, people residing, phone, outings and trips).
• Transcribes various types of correspondence.
• Logs referrals/placements and trip packets for placement and RAC committee.
• Develops and maintains the office filing system.
• Maintains US postage machine (ensuring funds are available for postage/updates, etc.
• Types correspondence, reports and other material assigned by a variety of managers, CIT Director, TTL, DA 3’s, clinical teams as needed.
• Receives, screens, logs and prioritizes mail for Director of the CIT.
• Distributes paychecks
• Enters project data in computer based information systems.
• Payroll for people receiving services at CIT 1 and 2.
• Secures confidential material.
• Delivers mail and records to Main DDSO office.
• Serves as secretary to a variety of managers.
• TABS
• Maintains office supplies.
