Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the Assistant Office Services Manager eligible list OR eligible to transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
52.6 Transfer:
To be eligible for a 52.6 transfer, a candidate must have one year permanent competitive service in a 52.6 title allocated to salary grade 16 or above.
Duties Description Building Space and Furniture Modifications
Evaluates building space and furniture modification requests(large and small-scale) for all OSC locations statewide; determines feasibility of requests; prepares designs for customer review/approval; coordinates modifications with the OSC customer, OGS, furniture vendors, OITS, architect (if required), Building Management and Office Services staff and others to implement approved changes. Familiarity with OSC Statewide Leased Spaces and working with OGS to resolve issues. Assumes project leadership as appropriate. Ensures necessary furniture parts are kept on-hand and stored in a safe and orderly fashion.
Health and Safety/Tenant Safety Co-Coordinator
Serves as the Agency Coordinator for the Tenant Health and Safety programs which involve the scheduling of quarterly Health and Safety meetings, taking and posting of meeting notes and as a general resource; help in the coordination of OSC’s Annual Health Fair; coordination and scheduling of the emergency evacuation drills and Tenant Safety meetings; assists the Director of Management Services with other Health & Safety issues such as IVR hotline and text messaging database testing and maintenance. Coordinator with program areas throughout OSC to store or retrieve/update their emergency preparedness staging kits.
OSC SEFA Co-Coordinator
Serve as assistant to OSC SEFA Coordinator which involves attending meetings, collecting and processing forms and assist in coordinating SEFA events.
Move Coordination
Coordinates staff moves for units within HR&A; updates floorplans to reflect all space/furniture modifications at 110 State Street, and other locations as necessary.
Division Teams
Participation on Agency and Division teams such as the annual Division-wide HR&A Staff Meeting and Here 4 U Customer Appreciation Week.
Miscellaneous Duties
Miscellaneous duties include but are not limited to providing support for Condo Board meetings, ensuring Management Services intranet site is updated and posting Bulletin board notices, as needed.
