Salary RangeFrom $53339 to $67827 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Reachable on current Civil Service list for this title, or one year of permanent, competitive class service as a Senior Internal Auditor, or one year of permanent, competitive class service in a title approved by the Department of Civil Service for transfer under Section 52.6 or 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Appropriate titles include, but are not limited to: Senior Accountant, Senior Auditor, State Examiner Municipal Affairs, State Program Examiner 1, Tax Auditor 1.
Duties Description Incumbent will work under the direction of an Associate Internal Auditor, Audit Manager, or Audit Director. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for participating in a team that conducts financial, operational, compliance and performance audits and reviews from initial entrance conference through final reporting. Additionally, the incumbent will provide value added consultative services on an as needed basis. Audits and reviews will involve financial, programmatic and administrative areas. Approximately 10% travel is required. The Senior Auditor will travel to each of the State Insurance Fund's Business Offices, as needed, to perform audit procedures.
