One year of permanent competitive service as a Children and Family Services Specialist 2 or eligible for a 70.1 transfer.

Duties Description
Incumbent will be involved in the overall operations of the of the Division of Juvenile Justice and Opportunities for Youth (DJJOY), Office of Community Partnerships (OCP), assigned to the Bureau of Classification and Movement. Incumbent will report directly to the Bureau Manager.

Incumbent will assist in drafting and updating policies as they relate to the Office of Community Partnerships, coordinating activities and tasks, providing supervision to analysts, monitoring compliance of the Community Multi-Service Offices, and working with the OCP Team and OCFS operated facilities to develop strategies to improve performance.

Responsible for the management of assignments related to OCP programs and DJJOY operated facilities, understanding and utilizing agency and statewide data bases, monitoring the timely responses to reportable incidents and the quality of their resolution.

Member of a team that assists the OCP Associate Commissioner with implementation of new initiatives and special projects which support the agency mission and priorities.
