Minimum Qualifications • At least seven (7) years of experience in business systems analysis, including planning; elicitation of requirements; analysis and validation of all recommended changes to processes; designing solutions; developing testing plans; supporting implementation and documentation of solutions with stakeholders.

• At least one (1) of these years must have been in utilizing an Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) to implement system change processes (e.g., Oracle, SAP, SAGE, ECI, Netsuite, Peoplesoft, etc). Experience may be concurrent.


EDUCATION:

• A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for four (4) of the seven (7) years of general business systems analysis experience.

• A Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) may be substituted for the seven (7) years of general business systems analysis experience.

Duties Description Under the general direction of the Re-engineering SMEs and Lead, the Functional Analyst(s) will support and participate in the development and analysis of requirements for the various enhancements to the Payroll System. In this capacity, the incumbent will perform the following duties:
• Analyze current business processes;
• Identify and define business process requirements;
• Set up and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix;
• Participate in transitioning the requirements to the developers, and help confirm a clear and complete understanding of the requirements;
• Assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing;
• Participate in quality management and other requirements related work products to ensure that requirements are fulfilled;
• Serve as a liaison to the stakeholder community;
• Serve as a resource for project team members;
• Draft functional system requirements for use by programming staff in developing system design; and
• Analyze impact of customizations in the current PeopleSoft product and re-engineered business processes.

Additional Comments PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hands on experience providing analysis, testing and writing requirements for PeopleSoft HCM Payroll and/or Peoplesoft Financials;
• Demonstrated experience creating and writing test scripts;
• Knowledge and understanding of Payroll Processing;
• Experience in performing a fit/gap analysis on existing customizations to move to delivered functionality;
• Experience in reading and creating SQLs; and
• Experience using SQL Plus and Toad software.
