Minimum Qualifications Applicants who are currently 55 b/c eligible are encouraged to apply for this position.

Successful completion of a one-year traineeship will automatically advance to Licensing Services Clerk,
SG-9.

Duties Description • Responsible for the examination and processing of various applications including permits and license applications.
• The position requires the review of contracts of sale, leases, financial documentation, diagrams, personal data forms and Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) reports. The candidate will also be required to research SLA legacy systems for applicant and premises histories with the Authority.
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication. The ability to write reports clearing and concisely based on the facts of an application is a must.
• Ability to research, read and interpret various ABC laws, rules, regulations and policies governing the licensing process.
• Candidates may be asked to assist with various additional tasks which include, but are not limited to data entry, license/permit issuance, mail room or front desk coverage and occasional face to face contact with the public.
