Minimum Qualifications The minimum qualifications are as follows:
• Must be a US citizen or foreign national eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be currently attending a New York State College, university or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State; attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York state
Preferred qualifications:
• Graduate student; minimum Senior
• Major in Information Technology or Engineering
• Must have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year College or University (completion of one year’s worth of academic credits over a more extended period of time may qualify part-time students);
• Or currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
• Must have a minimum grade point average (GPS) of 2.0 or equivalent to a C.

Duties Description The incumbent will assist in general coordination and monitoring of agency training-related procurement requests, and will function in a “Requestor” role in the Statewide Financial System for the Learning and Talent Management Office. In addition, the tasks the incumbent will be expected to perform are:
--Assist in the procurement of learning and development services
--Assist in maintaining learning and development vendor relationships; soliciting quotes and proposals
--Assist in development and submission of B1184 requests for DOB; enters requests in DOB portal
--Act as a Liaison to ITS Procurement and Contract Support unit
--Identify statewide contracts and vehicles for planned procurements
--Develop supporting documentation for ITS training programs upon request.
--Assist in general delivery of training and development of learning resources.
Preferred skills:
--Finance / Procurement / Budget experience – strongly preferred
--Strong writing and communication skills
--Willingness to learn new skills and subjects
--Team-player attitude
