Minimum Qualifications The appointee will be responsible for, but not limited to working with families who are interested in obtaining OPWDD services. The appointee will be responsible for completing the EAA tool, DDP2 and PISP/Addendum. They will be working with MSC agencies in developing plans for individuals interested in services, and composing letters for the FD process to go to agencies and families. In addition, the appointee will be responsible for providing training and information sessions to students, families, schools, agencies, etc., on OPWDD’s Front Door and the availability of services.
Duties Description Promotion: Candidates must have one year of permanent or contingent/permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c New York State service as a Social Work Assistant 3; OR reachable for appointment from the Civil Service List; OR eligible for a 70.1 transfer.
Open Competitive: Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work; OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and one year of post-Bachelors experience in social work; OR a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a human service area and two years of post-Bachelors experience in social work.
