Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list for Contract Management Specialist 1 or be eligible for either a 70.1 or 52.6 transfer. To qualify for a permanent appointment under either Section 70.1 or 52.6 a candidate must have one year permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a qualifying title.

Duties Description Manage the district contract and purchasing unit which includes:
•Work with stakeholders and the Centralized Contract Management Unit on spec development
•Prepare informal T contracts and Purchase Requests
•Obtain informal and formal quotes
•Meet with, or converse with vendors, contract users and staff requesting purchase orders to discuss needs, justification, pricing, or concerns
•Monitor contract compliance
•Work with Accounts Payable to ensure payments are appropriately applied
•Supervise and train staff
•Request Prevailing Wage information from Department of Labor (only for quotes, if necessary)
•Obtain PRC numbers for all CDDDSO procurements as appropriate
•Assist Business Officer with obtaining documentation for audits
•Assist the Business Officer with completion of Central Office Annual Report requests: Green cleaning, Building Property, Private Activity Questionnaires
•Other administrative tasks as necessary

Additional Comments All OPWDD employees must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Continued employment will depend on maintaining eligibility.
