Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience in designing and manufacturing assistive technology devices for individuals with disabilities, or two years of full performance level experience in carpentry or a related trade, one year of which must have been in the designing and manufacturing of assistive technology devices for individuals with disabilities.

Assistive technology device: any item, piece of equipment, or product system, whether acquired commercially, modified or customized, that is used to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities.

Duties Description AES implement a program of design, fabrication and maintenance of adaptive equipment intended to provide optimum therapeutic positioning, function and mobility of individuals with disabilities thus allowing maximum participation of such individuals in habilitation program and progress toward living and working in the least restrictive environment. ?
