TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: This title is designated administrative under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law and may be filled by administrative transfer under this section of the law provided all transfer criteria is met. You must have one year of permanent competitive service in a title M-3 or above designated “administrative” under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES: The UI Program Manager 4 provides leadership in overseeing and managing the operations of a Telephone Claims Center (TCC); provides opinion and suggestions for Federal and State unemployment legislation; maintains effective communications with UID management team; assists in the implementation of policies, procedures and program goals of the TCC; represents the Department and the Unemployment Insurance Division (UID) on all matters concerning the TCC operations; ensures the TCC operations meet Federal standards; coordinates, processes and issues with the other TCC, UI Division and other DOL organizations; establishes reporting systems for collection of workload data; institutes and maintains control for the detection and prevention of fraud; ensures staff development by overseeing the implementation of TCC training programs; evaluates staff performance and conducts performance evaluations.
