Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled trades-worker or completion of an appropriate two-year technical school course. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Must obtain Class B CDL within 6 months of appointment with appropriate endorsements.

Must be able to respond to emergencies, traverse rough terrain, work in remote locations, work in extreme weather conditions and willing to stay overnight in the backcountry when assigned. Must be chainsaw certified and complete all necessary training to keep the certification up-to-date.
Preferred Qualifications: Some working knowledge of the interior program/locations with Crown Point working circle.

Duties Description Jobs vary drastically dependent on program needs (i.e., cement work, manual labor, inventorying, paperwork/computer work, trail work, cleaning and other various jobs. Candidate will be responsible for submitting time cards and other computer entries, should be competent to work on a computer. Must be able to lift heavy objects to complete projects. Must be able to work with inmate crews when completing assigned jobs.

Additional Comments The work week is usually Monday-Friday, but will need to work some weekends. Candidate may have unanticipated schedule changes.
