Minimum Qualifications Permanent service in this title, or one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in a title SG-16 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Civil Service Law, or a reachable score on the Civil Service eligible list for this title.

Duties Description The incumbent of the Community Correction Representative 1 position provides technical assistance, informational support and training to probation departments, courts and other organizations throughout the State in relation to probation practice. The CCR1 will also research rules and regulations related to criminal probation practice; conduct probation department site visits; assist in the development of the Annual Probation Plan and Application for Probation Departments; extract data from surveys, applications and forms from probation departments in regard to adult operation matters; track the submission of the probation workload reports and Ignition Interlock Device (IID) program reports; assist with the management of adult operations content posted to the DCJS Public Website and the probation page on the Integrated Justice Portal; and identify critical incidents involving probationers from the Daily Report, a summary of recent serious crimes, and request supporting documentation from probation departments. Approximately 15% statewide travel.
