Permanent status as an Addictions Program Specialist 2, G-23 and interested in reassignment ~OR~ Reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Addictions Program Specialist 2, G-23 ~OR~ Eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law
Duties Description The incumbent will perform the following duties:
• RFP development and contract management of curriculum development and training vendors.
• Process and respond to Certified Education and Training Provider and Impaired Driving Provider complaints.
• Responsible for data compilation, reporting, and outcome evaluation of Learning and Development Unit functions.
• Supervise and evaluate employees.
• Work collaboratively with other agency divisions and ITS to develop and revise Impaired Driver Services reporting to assess recidivism and other impaired driving trends and outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with ITS to update/develop unit databases and reporting mechanisms.
• Develop, issue guidance, and provide technical assistance to the OASAS prevention, treatment, and recovery providers on agency training plans and orientation procedures.
• Develop written materials and correspondence, including applications, reporting, and evaluation forms and weekly, monthly and annual reports.
• Perform special assignments.
