Minimum Qualifications To be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.
Duties Description Under the direction of a higher-level warehouse supervisor, the candidate will perform administrative and/or technical tasks in the Warehouse.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Ordering, shipping and receiving of forms.
• Maintaining records of incoming stock and outgoing shipment of stock.
• Shipping paper to DOT regional offices.
• Storing and delivering computer paper.
• Picking up and delivering furniture.
• Assisting in maintaining surplus furniture inventory.
• Delivering supplies to Main Office and Regional Offices.
• Handling, lifting and moving stock, varying in weight and dimension.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret written and verbal instruction.
Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
